Why medical interpretation is more than word-for-word translation
Good interpretation supports accurate questions, informed consent and continuity across appointments.

A medical interpreter prepares terminology, preserves the speaker’s meaning and makes it clear when clarification is needed. The interpreter should not replace the doctor, edit the patient’s story or make treatment decisions.
Before a key appointment, share the agenda and important names or terms. Afterward, confirm the written next steps.
What to do next
For a conversation about your situation, contact a coordinator through the consultation form. Do not send medical records through the public form.
