Chinese medicine fumigation and penetration combined with deep radiofrequency hyperthermia (new solution for ankylosing spondylitis and refractory arthrofibrosis)

Integrate the ancient Lingnan method of warming meridians and unblocking collaterals with modern millimeter-wave deep radio frequency physical heat therapy. It uses a fully automatic traditional Chinese medicine constant temperature fumigation chamber to absorb high-concentration transdermal traditional Chinese medicine volatile oils (Tuangucao, Shenjincao, Chuanxiong, Frankincense, etc.) Meter-level ionization penetrates into the deep spinal facet joints and fascial layers. Deep radiofrequency increases the temperature of deep paravertebral diseased tissue to 41-43°C, effectively dissolves fibrotic collagen deposition, and prevents the evolution of 'bamboo-like' spinal ankylosis.

Mechanism of Action and Technical Advantages

Chinese medicine fumigation and penetration combined with deep radiofrequency thermal therapy Core technical principles and clinical pathways

1

Deep tissue penetration and blood drug concentration: The deep thermal effect of radiofrequency dilates dermal and subcutaneous blood vessels dozens of times, and nanosized volatile terpene molecules of traditional Chinese medicine establish ultra-high effective blood drug concentrations in the local lesions, without systemic gastrointestinal toxicity

2

Reversal of fibrous hyperplasia and stiffness contracture: 42°C targeted warming combined with bone-penetrating phlegm-resolving traditional Chinese medicine ingredients degrades type I collagen fiber accumulation and significantly restores the range of spinal extension and rotation.

3

Comprehensive treatment cost: A full set of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation + radiofrequency thermotherapy at China's national key traditional Chinese medicine specialist only costs ¥8,000 - ¥16,000 (approximately $1,150 - $2,300)

Precise target audience and clinical indications

Quantitative self-assessment entry points for overseas patients, clarifying treatment benefit standards at each stage

Young ankylosing spondylitis (AS) patients with early morning stiffness and humpback, severe stiffness and deformity of rheumatoid arthritis joints, stubborn fibroadhesion after knee meniscus surgery with limited joint mobility

Young patients with ankylosing spondylitis who are in the mid-to-early active phase, have significant back stiffness and pain but have not yet formed a complete ankylosing bone bridge; patients with severe gastrointestinal intolerance to long-term oral immunosuppressants or biological agents

Strict Exclusion Criteria and Contraindications

  • ✕Persons with acute tuberculosis infection or local skin suppuration and ulceration; severe and unstable fractures; those with contraindications for high-frequency hyperthermia near cardiac implantable pacemakers or spinal internally fixed metal prostheses

Real-world typical cases and treatment outcomes

Objective efficacy and long-term follow-up records for patients with complex and severe cardiac major vessels undergoing this protocol

Baseline patient profile

A 26-year-old male IT engineer has suffered from ankylosing spondylitis (HLA-B27 positive) for 3 years. He has been taking oral etoricoxib for pain relief for a long time. In the past six months, his waist and back have been extremely stiff as a stone in the morning (morning stiffness for up to 120 minutes). It is extremely difficult to turn over and bend over to tie his shoelaces. The range of motion of the chest is only 1.5cm, and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) is as high as 65 mm/h. Spinal radiographs show blurred and narrowed lumbar facet joints.

Significant clinical remission and functional reconstruction

Previous treatment history and treatment challenges:

The patient is young, but his posture has become hunched forward. He is very anxious about gastrointestinal, liver and kidney damage caused by long-term high-dose medication, and his confidence in life has been frustrated.

Specific implementation path of this plan:

Received the collaborative fumigation and heat therapy program of traditional Chinese and Western medicine at the National Traditional Chinese Medicine Rheumatology and External Treatment Rehabilitation Center of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. A fully-automatic traditional Chinese medicine multifunctional cabin fumigation is performed every morning (the cabin temperature is constant at 42°C, and specialized hospital preparations such as Togucao, Shenjincao, Trigonella, Curcuma and Curcuma are used), followed by 30 minutes of deep bipolar radiofrequency heat therapy on the back. In the afternoon, the rehabilitation therapist will assist with special joint loosening techniques and spinal guidance training on the Yijin Meridian.

Objective efficacy and outcome records:

On the third day of treatment, I could get up in the morning and turn over freely, and the morning stiffness time was miraculously shortened to 20 minutes. At the end of the 14th day of treatment, the Schober test measurement value improved from 2.1cm before surgery to 5.2cm, the thoracic mobility returned to 4.0cm, and the ESR dropped back to the normal range of 14 mm/h. The patient completely stopped taking oral analgesic drugs, his spine returned to normal physiological curvature, and he could walk easily and return to work.

Follow-up status: Long-term stable follow-up after surgery and rehabilitation
