Isokinetic muscle strength testing and multi-joint muscle strength balance reconstruction system (Isokinetic Rehabilitation System)
Using the internationally recognized isokinetic muscle strength testing system (such as Biodex / Cybex system), under the premise of constant preset angular velocity, the resistance is adaptively matched in real time with the patient's limb muscle output, providing efficient and safe training of 'maximum resistance within the full range of joint motion'. Accurately and quantitatively test the peak torque (PT) and antagonist muscle ratio (H/Q ratio) of knee, shoulder, ankle and other joint flexor and extensor muscle groups to eliminate the hidden dangers of postoperative recurrence of sports injuries and joint instability.

Mechanism of Action and Technical Advantages
Isokinetic muscle strength test and multi-joint muscle balance reconstruction system core technical principles and clinical pathways
1Resistance safety and adaptability: The resistance of the isokinetic system is completely determined by the patient's own real-time output force. If the patient feels pain and the force is slightly reduced, the resistance will immediately weaken by the same amount, which is absolutely safe and eliminates secondary injuries
2Quantitative objectivity and return-to-sport standards: The computer automatically generates a multi-axis curve with an accuracy of 0.1 N·m, accurately providing peak torque (PT), total work, explosive force and bilateral limb symmetry rate, objectively guiding scientific return to the game
3Single treatment service charge: China's national sports medicine center and high-end special needs clinics provide a complete set of isokinetic and refined training programs for only ¥5,000 - ¥11,000 (approximately $700 - $1,600)
Precise target audience and clinical indications
Quantitative self-assessment entry points for overseas patients, clarifying treatment benefit standards at each stage
Functional recovery and return-to-sport evaluation after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, rotator cuff injury repair, meniscal suturing, total knee/total hip replacement and severe patellofemoral chondromalacia
Athletes and sports enthusiasts eager to safely return to high-intensity sports after joint ligament surgery; patients with long-term compensatory stress on the lower limbs that cause severe wear and tear on the contralateral joint; patients with chronic patellofemoral pain syndrome
Strict Exclusion Criteria and Contraindications
- ✕A joint fracture that has not healed firmly or has severe osteoporosis around the joint; acute traumatic synovitis accompanied by massive blood and fluid accumulation in the joint cavity; joint mobility that is severely limited and unable to reach the preset angle for the test

Real-world typical cases and treatment outcomes
Objective efficacy and long-term follow-up records for patients with complex and severe cardiac major vessels undergoing this protocol
Baseline patient profile
A 23-year-old college semi-professional football player suffered a complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee and a bucket-handle tear of the medial meniscus during a game. He underwent autologous hamstring tendon reconstruction at the 16th week. Although he was able to jog, the patient felt that his right knee was weak and he was afraid to change direction and speed with one leg. The difference in thigh circumference between the healthy side and the affected side was 4.0cm, and he was extremely afraid of being injured again.
Significant clinical remission and functional reconstruction
Previous treatment history and treatment challenges:The patient is eager to return to the college football league, but manual examination cannot accurately determine deep muscle weakness, and the risk of secondary rupture after blindly returning to the field is extremely high.
Specific implementation path of this plan:Received a comprehensive evaluation of the Biodex multi-joint isokinetic system at the Sports Medicine Center of Huashan Hospital and the Joint Rehabilitation Department of Zen Medicine. The initial test showed that the peak torque (PT) of the right knee extensor muscles was only 54% of that of the healthy side, and the flexor-extensor muscle strength ratio (H/Q) was as low as 0.42 (severe imbalance). Based on this, the team developed a tailor-made 'isokinetic concentric-eccentric combined muscle strength symmetry reshaping program', which included isokinetic and high-resistance closed-loop training three times a week, focusing on strengthening the eccentric contraction and braking ability of the affected hamstring muscles, which lasted for 4 weeks.
Objective efficacy and outcome records:After 4 weeks of intensive training, the circumference of the right thigh muscle increased by 3.2cm; the retest of the isokinetic muscle strength index showed that the muscle strength symmetry index (LSI) of the healthy and affected sides increased to 94.2%, and the H/Q ratio was corrected to the gold standard of 0.65. The patient passed a full set of Hop Test jumping and balance stability tests, successfully returned to the starting lineup of the college league 2 months after discharge, and performed extremely well in high-intensity change of direction sprints throughout the field.
