How to read a preliminary treatment estimate
Understand what an estimate includes, what may change after admission and which questions to ask before travel.

A preliminary estimate is not a final invoice. It may be based on the records available before arrival.
Questions worth asking
- Which examinations, procedures and expected hospital days are included?
- Are medicines, implants, blood products and intensive care estimated separately?
- What circumstances could materially change the range?
- Which non-medical coordination costs are separate?
What to do next
For a conversation about your situation, contact a coordinator through the consultation form. Do not send medical records through the public form.
