Planning follow-up before leaving China
Discharge summaries, medication plans, warning signs and local follow-up should be clear before the return journey.
Ask for a written discharge summary and copies of important results. Confirm wound care, medicines, activity limits, diet, warning signs and the timing of the next review.
When ongoing treatment will continue at home, clarify which records should be shared and who will answer questions after discharge.
